Goodbye for now, and enjoy the Easter weekend

And that’s us for another day of Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order coverage! It unfortunately wasn’t the stock-filled day we were hoping for outside of a brief morning flash at Game, but we’ll keep trucking next week for hopefully more promising results.

Otherwise, if you’re in the UK, I hope you get to enjoy a good break this Easter weekend, and we’ll see you on the other side!

Should you expect Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order stock this weekend?

Honestly, it’s unlikely that we’ll see a stock bump over the long Easter weekend. More so than usual, it’ll be a time where most places (in the UK at least) wind down to enjoy the extended break.

There is still a slim chance we could see US stock begin to appear either tomorrow or Monday, but that is admittedly a long shot. Nevertheless, we will be back here next Tuesday during UK hours with a fresh set of eyes for new Nintendo Switch 2 stock.

How about that Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube controller?

On the topic of Nintendo Classics, the company will be releasing a wireless Nintendo GameCube controller for Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately, it’s not quite as accessible as most other Switch 2 accessories and you’ll need to jump through a couple of hoops in order to secure one.

Firstly, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Once you’re subscribed, you’ll be able to head to the My Nintendo Store, but sadly, it’s not quite as simple as placing a pre-order. You’ll first need to register interest at this link with your Nintendo Account’s email address. You’ll then, presumably, receive an email from Nintendo that’ll allow you to pre-order or purchase the GameCube controller at a later date.

Get your Nintendo Switch Online subscription ready

Playing games like Mario Kart World online is all well and good, but you will still need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to access Switch 2’s online features – including playing online with friends and using the new GameChat feature.

There are several benefits to having an NSO subscription beyond access to online play, though. You’ll be able to play Nintendo Classics libraries featuring games from past consoles including NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy Advance and now Nintendo GameCube on Switch 2. You’ll also have access to cloud saves and other freebies.

The good news is that the base NSO subscription is relatively affordable compared to what we see on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. One months’ subscription time will run you just $3.99 / £3.49. Three months is pretty great value too, at $7.99 / £6.99. Finally, a 12-month option is available for $19.99 / £17.99.

A more premium Expansion Pack tier is also available. This nets you goodies like expansions for certain games, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass and Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion. It also expands the number of Nintendo Classics libraries available to you, including the aforementioned GameCube selection coming to Switch 2.

The Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct has aired!

Watch On

The Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct has been and gone, and you can watch it now on Nintendo’s YouTube channels in case you missed it live.

Highlights from the presentation include a better look at Free Roam mode, which is now confirmed to be dotted with hundreds of challenges, collectibles and secrets!

A deep dive on various tracks also showed that new mechanics like charge jumps, rail grinding and wall-riding will be heavily implemented, allowing skilled players to access creative shortcuts and avoid pesky items like shells and bananas.

Battle Modes are also returning, including Balloon Battle and Coin Runners. These appear to be playable on the regular map, but they’ll also have bespoke arenas designed for them. It also looked like ranked online play will return, as we see a number next to online play options as was the case in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

What to buy next if you’ve managed to secure your Switch 2 pre-order

If you were ahead of the curve in securing a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order, you might be wondering what kinds of games and/or accessories you should shop for next.

Well, if you’re planning on playing online frequently with friends, you might consider picking up the official Nintendo Switch 2 camera. With a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, this will let you chat with friends online via the new GameChat feature, and you’ll be able to see each other’s camera feeds.

Furthermore, while it’s great that the original Switch Pro Controller is compatible with Switch 2, its upgraded version may be to your liking as well. I loved the upgraded model during my Switch 2 Pro Controller hands-on in Paris a couple of weeks back, and even though it’s slightly pricier than the original at £74.99, it’s one to consider if you’re after a solid, long-lasting controller for Switch 2.

Still quiet on stock

Outside of a brief stock flash at Game this morning, Switch 2 pre-order stock continues to be bone dry this afternoon, with nothing across major retailers for either the console or the Mario Kart World bundle. Here’s hoping we get a more meaningful stock injection after this Easter weekend.

PSA: Avoid standard microSD cards!

I’ve been seeing a lot of deals and discounts for standard microSD cards – some of which are even within Nintendo Switch 2 sections of certain retailers.

The problem is, you shouldn’t be buying them for use with Switch 2, as they won’t be compatible with the new system. MicroSD ‘Express’ cards are the new standard, and are compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. These offer much faster read and write speeds and should allow games on the console to load a little faster.

Very is the place to go for Switch 2 game pre-orders

Remember that TRY20 coupon code I was talking about with the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller at Very? Turns out it also works for Nintendo Switch 2 games at the retailer! It works on titles like Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World and Street Fighter 6! You can save 20% on the games this way.

And we’re back for the afternoon! For the rest of the working day, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders situation. Stock remains extremely few and far between at major retailers, but I’ll keep you all posted if and when stock drops happen.

And with that, I’m heading off once again! Rhys will be back soon to keep track of the stock situation, so you don’t need to worry about missing the latest updates.

Don’t forget to tune into the Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct

We’re just 15 minutes away from the start of the next Nintendo Direct, which is focused on Mario Kart World.

Join me for live coverage of the show as it happens on our Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct build-up live page!

This is one of the most highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 games and, if you buy the bundle, included as a pack-in so if you’re planning to pick up the new console you’re not going to want to miss this.

Still crickets on the stock front, I’m afraid!

Your best bet right now might be heading into your local Currys store in order to place an in-person pre-order.

Have you managed to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order today, or are you still hoping to nab one?

Let us know by tagging us in a post on X / Twitter and for a chance to appear in our live coverage!

Okay, there really isn’t any stock right now is there…

I’ve had a look at all our favorites and I’m not seeing any available options.

Still, I will be keeping tabs on all of them just in case we get a restock some time this afternoon.

Rhys has just run out for a cheeky lunch, which means it’s Dash time once again.

The current pre-order landscape looks very quiet, but I’m going to be scanning around the big retailers to let you know the situation.

A quick reminder!

Mario Kart World

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order situation got you down? Be sure to perk yourself up again by tuning into the Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct which is airing in about 90 minutes!

The Direct is unfortunately going to be on the shorter side at roughly 15 minutes, so I’m hoping it’s a dense one, packed with new information on what we can expect from the series’ jump to an open-world format.

Are you there, Amazon?

A screenshot of Mario from Mario Kart World

Perhaps rather frustratingly, retail giant Amazon still hasn’t thrown its hat in the ring when it comes to Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders in the UK. At least when it comes to the console or bundles themselves.

There is plenty to go around when it comes to accessories and games, but obviously, this won’t be much good to folks who haven’t yet managed to secure the console bag.

Save big on a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller!

Right now, Very has the absolute best rate on the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. By entering the coupon code TRY20 at checkout, you’ll save 20% off your purchase. That takes the price of the gamepad down from £74.99 to £59.99 at Very. Check the deal block below for more information!

All quiet on the UK front for now…

An awe-struck Mario looks around the Mushroom Kingdom in The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Pretty much all major retailers remain out of stock on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle. As expected, scalpers and scammers are currently going buck wild on eBay, where we’ve seen prices on pre-orders shoot upwards of £500. Obviously, avoid listings like this like the plague.

Thinking of pre-ordering Hori’s Switch 2 camera? Read this first!

Hori Switch 2 camera.

The Hori Piranha Plant Camera is certainly a tempting purchase at just £33.99, markedly cheaper than the official Switch 2 camera accessory’s RRP of £49.99. But despite its cute looks, there are some caveats to keep in mind as I wrote about in this news post.

The main thing to be concerned about is the camera’s resolution. The Switch 2 camera outputs at a crisp 1080p, while Hori’s cheaper model can only manage 480p. That means you’re going to get a much crunchier output that could make you look more like a stained glass window than an actual human being.

It’ll all come down to how much you plan on using Switch 2’s new GameChat feature. If you’re only going to be using it here and there, then Hori’s device may still be worth a purchase to save some cash. But if you know you’ll be chilling online with friends on a regular basis, I’d say it’s worth shooting for the official model from Nintendo.

MicroSD Express is the way to go!

One thing to keep in mind with Nintendo Switch 2 is that it’ll no longer support standard microSD cards. Instead, you’ll need a microSD Express card – essentially the microSD equivalent of an SSD.

As ever, manufacturers Samsung and SanDisk are providing officially-licensed microSD Express cards, and a 256GB model from both is currently available to pre-order for £49.99. Check the block below for all the best places to put a pre-order in.

Well that didn’t last long

Game stock has gone as quickly as it arrived, unfortunately. The ‘pre-order’ button has now reverted back to ‘add to bag’ which as my colleague Rob pointed out yesterday, indicates that the retailer is plum out of stock again. We’ll be keeping a keen eye on Game throughout the day though, as it’s been one of the more promising UK retailers for Switch 2 pre-orders.

More stock at Game!

Still searching for your Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order? It looks like Game has another batch of stock just in, but only for the console by itself at present. If this changes to include the Mario Kart World bundle, too, then I’ll keep you posted.

Good morning!

Rise and shine, UK gamers! This is Rhys taking over the hub from Rob today. Stock is still few and far between in the region, but we are starting to see glimpses of Switch 2 stock at retailers like Game. More on that very soon so be sure to keep us bookmarked as I’ll be watching stock like a hawk today.

Toodle-ooo!

Right, I have done a final sweep of the UK retailers and there is no new stock situations or website quirks to let you know about.

As a result, as its the end of UK business hours, I’m ending my live coverage for today but we’ll be back tomorrow!

Changes to another UK retailer page…

EE has changed its Nintendo product listing page (as in literally the list of Switch 2 and Switch 1 products it is selling) now.

The retailer has bumped all of the Switch 2 product pages apart from the Mario Kart World bundle, right to the end of the list on page 3, as opposed to having them at the top of the list and immediately in front of folks’ eyes.

Again, I can’t be certain if this means anything, or what it could hint at, but it’s interesting to note as there’s clearly something going on behind the scenes when things like this happen.

A definite flash of stock at Game…

Game definitely had a tiny flash of stock of some description.

I just returned to my bag with a Switch 2 bundle in it on the site, and it didn’t display the ‘out of stock’ message and looked like I could continue…

I tried to, and the error then came, but that means stock definitely returned for a moment at some point recently. That could be from a cancelled order or something, but it’s worth trying and camping there if you have the time and inclination to do so.

Back to the accessories, you’re able to pre-order readily right now, and one of the best ways to prepare for multiplayer couch gaming sessions is by stocking up on more Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Extra controllers are never a bad idea for single-player gaming, too, so you’re always charged up and ready to go.

By the way…

Mario Kart World

Also, remember that there’s a Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct presentation happening tomorrow.

We’re building up to it with some predictions and key info here!

Always think about protection..

Given the investment you might make on a Switch 2 pre-order – especially if you got a bundle – thinking about protecting that sweet, sweet new gaming device is something we can get behind.

The official Carrying Case & Screen Protector is the exact product I’d go for if I were getting a Switch 2, as it should be the one case and protector set you can have absolute confidence in (at least on paper).

Luckily, it’s reasonably priced and also readily available to pre-order in the UK, so this is a great accessory to nail down if you’ve sorted a Switch 2 pre-order already or not, frankly.

Still very quiet out there…

After a short break for lunch – in the hope that if I wasn’t looking at retailer pages they would suddenly be full of restocks – it’s deathly quiet out there.

Let’s have a look at what else is cracking in the world of Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders and news…

Still no sign of Amazon…

I remain absolutely baffled that Amazon UK has not re-entered the Switch 2 pre-order game.

It’s been well over a week since any last flash of stock at the giant retailer, and I just can’t believe it’s happy or content to let all the other retailers have its lunch…

While the console is not up for pre-order, a host of Switch 2 games and accessories ar,e though, and you can see them with the link below.

ShopTo is gone too…

ShopTo only had a bit of inventory left, seemingly, and has now returned both its listings to ‘Sold out’.

Here are the links to check or sit on again, just in case.

About Game’s listings…

Game Switch 2 pre-order

By the way, it may appear that Game’s listings are still live, given the active and interactable pink ‘Add to bag’ button, but once you examine the contents of said bag, you’ll be greeted by the above message saying that it’s out of stock.

It says that the “size you selected is out of stock” which is weird for a games console, but that’s probably because the Game website is within the Frasers Group ecosystem, which also houses clothing department store House of Fraser…

And Game is done 🙁

ShopTo has returned with perfect timing as Game has it’s showing it’s sold out for both the standalone and the Mario Kart World bundle for me.

That can’t have been that chunk a restock sadly.

But nevertheless, ShopTo’s bundles are still available!

ShopTo is BACK!

Game Switch 2 pre-ShopTo Switch 2 pre-order

Huge news as ShopTo Switch 2 pre-order stock has returned! Now we’ve got two options at the same time!

ShopTo has got the same bundles it had yesterday back up for pre-order so if you missed out on them originally, now is the time to strike!

In other news…

Elsewhere, by the way, for anyone looking for any titbit of rumor or hearsay on Canadian and US Switch 2 pre-orders, we may have something of a positive sign – but it’s a very much unconfirmed rumor.

Reliable leaker, billbil-kun, has posted on X / Twitter claiming that, from what they can see, April 23, 2025, might be the go-date for pre-orders in Canada. This is based on what the leaker can “see through some Canadian retailers”.

This, in theory, could mean that the US would be around the same time: Canadian pre-orders were postponed to be in line with US pre-orders, after all.

More on this as we get it, but while it’s notable given billbil-kun’s track record, we’d still take this with a large grain of salt.

Standalone console up for pre-order too!

The retailer has the standalone console up and ready for pre-order too! Excellent news and we have a solid option to start the day off with.

Game enters the, well, game!

Game has finally joined the party! It’s got the Mario Kart World bundle up for pre-order right now!

Argos has both listings back…

Argos Switch 2 pre-order

In small-but-pottentially-interesting news, Argos has revived its Mario Kart World bundle listing.

This is of note because the retailer has 1) been one of the foremost stockists in the early part of the pre-order phase, and 2) had previously removed the listing strangely.

Why is it back now? Imminent restock!? One can only hope. Here are Argos’ links in case you want to keep them close by today.

All quiet

In short: there is no stock right now in the UK. Everywhere is quiet, so we’re back to square one…

Good gaming morning!

We’re back with more Switch 2 pre-order hunting coverage, and the first bit of news is that those ShopTo bundles have finally sold out – boooo!

The links are below again just in case you fancy checking them today (not a bad idea), but otherwise, I’mma do a full sweep now and listing page check.

Goodnight and good luck!

I’m finishing my stock tracking for the day here, and will return tomorrow with more live coverage!

Good luck if you’re reading this after business hours – hopefully the below ShopTo bundles are still available for you.

Catch you all tomorrow!

Where is everyone else?

A close up of the Nintendo Switch 2 console on a stand

While it’s great that we’ve had this ShopTo restock in the UK – that is running and running by the looks of it – I am baffled, once again, as to where everyone else is.

No word from Amazon UK, Currys going online, and Very and Argos have gone very quiet indeed – are the latter two now done?

It’s very strange and a really hard one to speculate on, especially in the context of Amazon – has the retail giant not been able to secure more stock? Really? That seems wild if true.

Anyway, we’re nearly at the end of UK business hours now so I doubt we’ll see more today, so here are those ShopTo links once again.

Just a quick word on value…

ShopTo Switch 2 pre-orders

There’s no denying that the ShopTo bundles are plain excellent because they are available, but they do throw in some useful accessories too.

In terms of price, they do offer pretty much just the straight cost of all three items – but remember this is the console that doesn’t come with Mario Kart World, too. This means that you’ll be buying that, or any other, game for full price right from the off.

As a result, if these accessories aren’t for you – none of them are the Switch 2 Pro Controller too, after all – or you’re desperate to maximize your value for money, then it might be worth holding fire until the Mario Kart World Bundle comes back into stock somewhere…

Hello!

Rob here, and I have returned to guide you through the next few hours of Switch 2 pre-order stock hunting once again.

And by that I mean, constantly point you at the ShopTo links below until I can no longer do so as the stock there is still live!

And with that, my time guiding you through the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order chaos has come to an end – at least for today! Rob is jumping back on to pick things up, but I’m sure I’ll see you all again soon…

Those ShopTo bundles are STILL up for grabs!

I almost can’t believe it, but those bundles at ShopTo are still available! It’s impressive how long they’ve been holding out, especially given the fact that demand will undoubtedly be quite high.

In fact, the website states that almost 3,000 people are looking at the page right now!

With the Nintendo Switch 2 + Joy-Con 2 pair + Stealth Quad Charging Dock bundle you will get your hands on the Nintendo Switch 2, a spare Joy-Con 2 pair, and a magnetic charging dock for them.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 + Camera + Stealth Premium Travel Pack you then get the Nintendo Switch 2 console, a travel case, and the official camera accessory.

Have a local Currys store?

The front of a Currys store with a car parked in a nearby space

Here’s just a quick reminder that Currys is currently accepting in-store Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders.

If you’re struggling to find stock online, it might be worth heading to your local store to try your luck there instead.

If you would prefer to buy online, then you can currently register your interest via the Currys website.

I’ve just done a quick scour of all the major retailers and it doesn’t look like the stock situation is going to change any time soon. Even so, I still have my fingers crossed that we will see some more units pop up today…

Those two bundles are still holding strong. There’s no word on how long they will continue to be available, so hop over to the ShopTo website ASAP if you’re after them.

Hey everyone, Dash here just taking over for a bit while Rob goes to get some lunch.

As Rob said before he left, there are still some bundles up for grabs at ShopTo.

Definitely take advantage of these if you’re hoping to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order right now, as I’m not seeing any other options at the moment…

I’m almost out of here for a bit to get some lunch, but the amazing news is that the ShopTo stock is still live!

Elsewhere, I’m still intrigued by Argos’ move to remove the Mario Kart Bundle entirely from their Switch 2 hub page…

I wonder if that means they see no reason to offer it in the foreseeable and their allocation is totally gone? Or maybe it means they want to remove and then when it becomes available again it has a greater impact (or something)…

Have a Switch 2 pre-order for lunch

Mario Kart World

I promise I’ll post about something else in a bit, but this ShopTo Switch 2 pre-order restock is all I can see and think about right now.

While I like and am happy to recommend ShopTo as a purveyor of gaming goods, I wouldn’t normally think of ShopTo as a massive stockist, but this is a sizeable and enduring restock that is excellent news for UK shoppers.

And what a lunchtime purchase this could be too! Here are those links again

Still available!

This is seemingly an excellent restock with loads of inventory available from ShopTo – unless no one is buying them. Which is very doubtful!

The on-page view counter (which may or may not be correct) has both listings being looked at by about 1000 people right now so that’s either a good sign that there’s loads of stock, or a bad sign that the competition is seriously high – or both!

Every other UK retailer is quiet as a mouse right now, so this is the one to jump on to avoid disappointment.

Hanging in there…

ShopTo’s stock is still holding which takes us well past the hour mark, which is exceptional. Here’s hoping it lasts longer and gives people a delicious lunchtime treat.

In the meantime…

Nintendo Switch Online NES and SNES game selection

While we bask in the glow of the ShopTo stock, can I interest you in saving 2 quid on 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online?

It’s not the lowest-ever price we’ve seen on the sub, but 10% off is still a good deal if you’re looking to top up before Switch 2 arrives.

Did you get one?

Have you managed to snag one from ShopTo?

Let us know by tagging us in a post on X / Twitter and for a chance to appear in our live coverage!

Otherwise, stock is still holding!

This is such excellent news, as I was wondering whether we’d be scratching our heads almost totally today…

ShopTo is one that I’ve been keeping my eye on for ages too, but nothing changed on their listings or anything – until now!

Act fast though, there’s just no knowing how much stock retailers actually have – yesterday ebuyer only had a few dozen, literally.

ShopTo is live!!

ShopTo Switch 2 pre-orders

We have lift-off!

ShopTo – deathly quiet up until now – has gone live with two Switch 2 bundle pre-orders!

Check them out below, but these look pretty good! Go go go!

No console pre-order at Amazon UK but…

A Nintendo Switch 2 console on a Zelda background

While there isn’t any stock of the Switch 2 console or Mario Kart Bundle up for pre-order at Amazon UK, the online retailer has got a bunch of the accessories and games up (finally) for pre-order.

This is superb news for folks hunting those to bulk up their Switch 2 setup from the off, and I’ll be adding all the relevant direct links to the above product listings on this page.

In the meantime, you can browse the whole lot with the link below.

Now, we wait for Switch 2 console pre-order stock! Come on, Amazon!

First look reveals nothing… naturally

A close up of the Nintendo Switch 2 console

OK, my first big sweep of the big and not so big retailers in the UK has yielded zero results.

However, don’t lose faith yet – many retailers have gone live with pre-order stock later in the morning, and we still haven’t seen Amazon UK come back into the game or heard from Currys about online pre-orders.

Good morning!

Hello again everyone!

Welcome back to another fine day of Switch 2 pre-order stock hunting.

I’m always hopeful at the start of the day that we’ll find or see some stock, so let’s hope a retailer or two comes good!

Until tomorrow…

I’ll be back in the morning (UK time) to keep this Switch 2 pre-order hunting train going.

In the meantime, continue to check for stock when you can via all the links above.

Catch you tomorrow!

Anything in the US? (No, sadly…)

While we see a tiny restock in the UK at ebuyer, we continue to have absolutely zero information on US pre-orders.

With tariff uncertainty calming down somewhat and a delay buying retailers and brands time, I’d have thought that we might have heard something from Nintendo by now – and yet here we are.

We still have an upcoming date of May 8 when invites may start going to folks which could remain in place – but this is totally finger-in-the-air stuff. This was an original date stated before the delay so could just be out-of-date info that’s yet to be changed.

If you want to get ahead of the game, then all I can offer is the below links which are your best bets to bookmark now.

Argos update (not a restock)

Hmmm this is an unexpected tiny thing I’ve just noticed.

Argos has removed the Mario Kart World bundle from its Nintendo Switch 2 product page entirely…

I have no idea what this means in terms of if the retailer is preparing more stock, or has genuinely run out of it so doesn’t want to list it. But it’s a thing that’s happened nonetheless.

Aaand it’s gone!

Maybe ebuyer really did have just 30-something or a bit more units for sale…

That seems wild but maybe retailers are having to fight tooth and nail among themselves for pre-order allocations.

Anyway, with ebuyer now sold out, the best thing to do is to occasionally check back on both their links just in case there’s cancelled orders, while I have a another look elsewhere…

With every refresh, I am watching that number of ebuyer stock go down in real time, by the way…

Only 20-something units at ebuyer?

ebuyer/Switch 2 pre-orders

In fact, the retailer is listing only a (weirdly) tiny amount of stock available once you inspect it in the basket – just 20-something units?!

That’s wild, but even more reason why you should act quickly!

It’s worth noting that as ebuyer is not a noted console-focused tech retailer so it won’t likely have a lot of stock…

Best act quick to avoid disappointment!

Where’s the standalone console at ebuyer?

ebuyer/Switch 2 pre-orders

Surely the standalone console will be available at ebuyer soon. Surely!

The Mario Kart World bundle is by far the better value proposition but when one listing goes up, surely it’s only a matter of time before the next.

ebuyer is on its own though…

Sometimes when one retailer goes live, we see another pop up, but that’s not the case so far…

It’s still just ebuyer as far as I can tell, and that is a super place – though maybe not one of the most likely candidates – to get your Switch 2 from.

ebuyer coming good

What an exciting start to the live coverage! I knew ebuyer had been prepping however as I’d noticed their Nintendo console hub page being moved around and altered several times in the past week or so…

And it was true! Absolutely make the most of this opportunity, if you’re hunting right now!

ebuyer is live!

ebuyer Switch 2 pre-orders

I am the Switch 2 pre-order stock whisperer! Maybe.

However, ebuyer has gone live! Stock of the Mario Kart World bundle is now available to buy, go go go!

What are we hoping for?

The Nintendo Switch 2 on a red background

In terms of what we can realistically hope for and those retailers to keep a close eye on, I’d say that the most intriguing ones would be Amazon, Currys, and ebuyer.

Amazon hasn’t joined the party since day one, basically, so is due for a restock. Currys is only doing in-store pre-orders right now and absolutely has to join the online party at some point. And ebuyer has been an intriguing one to keep an eye on recently with regular changes to their Nintendo console hub page and reordering the Switch 2 listings go gradually up the list.

Along with regular checks of Very, Argos, and EE, these are your best bets.

Hello once again!

Welcome back!

We are continuing our live coverage of the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order situation in both the UK and US – strap in and let’s see if we can spot you some stock to bag your new console.

It’s been quiet on the pre-order front in the UK so far but with some big retailers still left to play their hand (we think) there might be chances this week.
